In other words, the physical teacher brings the student to the awareness that the most important teacher lies within.  True healing and spiritual growth go hand in hand. One cannot take place without the other. One way to define spiritual growth is how you view life and heal when a major change has taken place within your life.

The spiritual journey is not for the faint of heart. It takes courage to look at the self. If you do not know your weaknesses, how will you make them your strengths? If you do not know your fears, how will you overcome them? Life cannot get better until you make the appropriate changes within you. When you change, your world will change with you. One thing you will learn on your spiritual path: The more you learn, the more you learn there is to learn.
