Alexander Technique - Group Sessions

Facilitator:  James Ruttkay

The Alexander Technique is a practical and long-lasting educational technique that helps people change their thinking and experience of what it is to be in poise, ease and proper coordination. Our educational system does not address how our structure is designed to work as a whole unit, in conjunction with the forces of gravity. What we think of as good posture and proper alignment is usually thought of as something to impose on our body. Alexander Technique focuses on changing the underlying unconscious muscular habits that stop us from experiencing the natural ease that is available to us.

Join James Ruttkay for a small group class to explore what it is to inhabit our bodies with a sense of freedom and ease.
