The Power of Prayer

Where to Find God
Many people think the only place to find God is in a church. This is not true. The only place you can truly find God is within your own soul. You can feel God’s presence in a church, in nature, or anytime your heart experiences love—for God is Love.
A church is a space where people can experience reverence and thanksgiving. The spirit can be uplifted into the Love and Light of God there, just as it can be in Nature. In this way, a church can be seen as a single prayer with the power to touch the universe.
Within a church, many people pray, yet only a few direct a pure, forceful energy flow that makes a real difference. Some pray out of ritual, with little energy. Others pray in extreme distress or anxiety, which can distort their energy and even add to universal negativity. A smooth, loving energy flow, however, positively affects each soul and the universe. It is this balance of energy that sustains and comforts.
It is important to distinguish the intent of prayer from its effect. Prayer driven by self-centered or greedy purposes may be intense, but its energy is different from a prayer offered for the safety and well-being of others. The intent is one aspect; the energy flow is another.
Each soul has a pre-birth agreement. The conditions or events your prayer seeks to change may, in fact, be the life lessons your soul chose. The same is true for prayers concerning yourself, because our conscious mind is rarely fully in tune with our soul.
When you pray, pray for the “very best and highest good”—for yourself and for others. Do not attach intense emotion to a specific outcome; that is not your conscious choice. Allow the energy to flow freely, bringing harmony to your physical and psychic self, and sending balance into the consciousness of the Earth. Whatever unfolds will be in alignment with the soul’s contract.
Prayers for those who have passed (remember, the soul never dies) are vital. They offer comfort and healing, not only to loved ones who have departed, but also to those still living and growing spiritually.
Prayers offered in balanced energy are always welcome, benefiting both the living and those who have transitioned.
Blessings on your journey!
