Gong Bath Meditations

Gongs have been used since ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman times—for sound healing, celebration, and communication—dating back as early as 4,000 B.C. A gong bath offers meditation, relaxation, pain relief, and emotional release. Wind down your day and give yourself time to process and release thoughts and emotions. By the end of the session, you’ll feel calmer, more balanced, less anxious, and happier.

Gong baths help release stress, fatigue, depression, and anxiety. They quiet the mind, allowing new ideas and insights to emerge. During a session, your brain may shift into alpha- and theta-dominant brain waves—restorative states that allow the mind to process daily experiences. Participants may experience visions, epiphanies, or creative solutions.

How to Experience a Gong Bath:
Dress comfortably and lie on a yoga mat with a pillow or blanket under your head and knees. An eye mask is optional. If lying down isn’t possible, sitting in a chair works just as well—comfort is key.

Simply soak in the surrounding sounds and vibrations and let the gong’s energy flow through you.
