The Definition of Ego

The definition of EGO (Edging God Out)--"self" centeredness.  "Look at me," "Look at what I can do," "I did this," "I did that," "I, I, I...." Everything is centered around "I/me."

It is time to let go of being "self" centered and move into a space of being "other" centered. In other words, truly caring about others and not just the self and what we can do.  Anyone who has to point out what they can do better than anyone else is centered in the ego whether they realize it or not.  

It's time to be more like Mother Theresa.  She never bragged about what she did or who she helped or what her gifts were.  She just did what her heart guided her to do to help people, asking for nothing (not even recognition) in return.  Actions speak louder than words.  

Where EGO (Edging God Out) is present, God is not.
