The LOVE Connection
The LOVE connection in today’s world is getting harder to find. People say "Love ya" or “Love you” instead of saying "I LOVE you." They say "Baby Momma or Dadda" instead of "my child or children."
The person who leaves out the "I" or "my" has chosen, on some level, to disconnect from LOVE because they are afraid of getting hurt. Yet we still get hurt and our heart aches because now we feel empty and depressed. Everyone needs to feel LOVEd in one way or another! We cannot live without LOVE.
Remember the old saying, “Better to have LOVEd and lost than never to have LOVEd before.” When we are with someone, we share gifts. When that person leaves, they leave the gifts they gave with you. Instead of focusing on what was lost, look for the blessing in the experience. This is where you will find the comfort your soul so desperately desires.
Our technical implements (e.g., electronics - phone, computer, etc.) are an excuse to detach from the world around us, but the reality is we are here ... so we must live in this world and work to make it a better place to live, a world filled with LOVE.
It's time to connect emotionally to find LOVE again. In today’s society, we are taught we shouldn’t touch anyone, but if we don’t touch, we can’t share LOVE. Touching inappropriately is different than touching to help a person to help him or her feel LOVEd.
The tissue on your hands is the same tissue as that of your heart. We send LOVE through the hands. We feel LOVE when we hug, when we hold hands, when we touch. LOVE is what we all need to feel now more than ever.
So don’t be afraid to express yourself. Allow yourself to LOVE with all your heart and with all your soul. That’s what is going to make the world a better place to live!
Blessings to you on your journey back to LOVE!
With much love, Pat
