The Power of Truth

Beloved Ascended Master Jesus and the Path of Truth
Beloved Ascended Master Jesus lived a life of service, teaching about God’s love and showing how to live a life of love. He healed those ready to heal and performed miracles for all to witness. He was the essence of Pure Love. Jesus became “Jesus the Christ” upon His ascension. All of us have a Christ Self—our Higher Self—and when we are ready to ascend, we, too, may become “______ the Christ.” He spoke the Truth, drawing crowds wherever He went, yet was crucified and died alone. Even those closest to Him abandoned Him out of fear. Three days later, He was resurrected, showing that Love and Truth ultimately prevail.
What is Truth?
Pure Truth is Pure Love. It is unconditional, strong enough to stand on its own, needing no army to defend it. Anything less is rooted in fear or self-interest. As 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 reminds us:
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy or boast. It is not proud or self-seeking. It is not easily angered and keeps no record of wrongs. Love rejoices in the truth and always protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres."
When we feel the need to defend ourselves, manipulate, or strike back, it may be a call to go within—to examine our own anxieties, insecurities, and fears. Spiritual seekers must discern truth for themselves, observing what others may be gaining and what we gain from taking their words to heart. Beloved Jesus taught, “Do not judge, lest you be judged.” (Matthew 7:1)
Ascended Master Kuthumi reminds us:
Spiritual mastery requires discrimination.
The ego’s desires, past experiences, and emotional conditioning are not the still small voice of the Presence.
Concepts ingrained from past teachings may resurface as the flame of consciousness surges—they are not necessarily Truth.
That which makes you humble, selfless, loving, pure, and harmonious is of God.
That which decreases the personality and increases the power of Christ is of God.
That which inflates the ego is not the voice of the Presence.
Walking the spiritual path is not for the faint of heart. It requires self-reflection, courage, and honesty. It means not blaming others for our weaknesses, holding our head high, and staying true to ourselves even in adversity.
Though the path can be challenging, the reward—inner peace, love, and alignment with the Divine—is well worth the effort.
Blessings to you on your journey!
